These islands are situated in the atlantic ocean near the western coast os the african continent.

Lanzarote is the one of the bigger canarian islands and lays in the north-east of the canarian islands. Lanzarote is also the dryest of the canarian islands. In summer the temperatures are very warm, but in winter not so cold.
Especially on this island there is much to visit for tourists. The island is interesting because of the vulcanic black sanded beaches and the vulcanic landscape.

Because of the fact, that lanzarote is so dry, there are only a few plants. The sightseeing places are el Golfo, the Papagayo beaches, Mirador del Rio and many more.

If you rent a car, you can drive the whole island in a short time because it is from the north to the south only 58 kilometres. The length of the coast is 210 kilonmetres. The most beaches are sandy and the most tourist places are in the south-east of the island, for examble Playa del Carmen.
It is situated near the airport in Arrecife.

Lanzarote is a very good holiay destination because you can practice watersports, hiking, making excursions and many other things. This is the most varied isle I ever visited.
